I have made all of Casey's entries public again. I still cry when I see her pictures, and am doing so as I write this as well. I have taken all pictures out of LJ-cuts, so now all pictures are displayed upon loading of each page. There are 10 entries per page. And around 20 entries in total thus far.

I will continue to update this journal. I have more pictures of Casey that I have not uploaded to online and I will be posting them in subsequent entries. Thank you to all of you who sent me the kind comments on greenfall. I appreciate it more than you know, and I was even surprised that I received as many as I did. This was all such a sudden and tragic incident that could and should have been avoided- it is so unfair that a kitten, not even a year old, should die such a horrific death.. I am still grieving for her and a day hasn't gone by without several spontaneous crying fits. I am going to keep this journal as a memoir of her life so that one day I will be able to look back and smile instead of sob each time I see her little face.

Do me a favor- pick up your pet tonight and hold them for awhile, and think about what it might be like if they were gone. Please, all of you, cherish your animals.. one day they could be ripped away from you in one of the worst ways you could possibly imagine. Yes, losing an animal can be just as painful as losing a person. She was a family member, and she was without a doubt my best friend.

Mommy's Visit on October 4th, 2008

O hai 2u. Mommy came over to visit on the weekend and we did things like sleep in the crack blanket.. brings back the good old times. Also, I'm still not getting along with the new dog. Bailey and I are still best buddies though. We even sleep together with Mommy's parents sometimes.

*note: I have updated THIS ENTRY with a LOL taken at the same time as the other pictures.

I do this thing now where when Mommy's dad leaves his computer chair too close to the bulletin board - I climb up there and pull out every single tack with my teeth. I don't eat them, I just pull them out and then drop them. Every single day!

Mommy made me this ghetto-tastic toy out of what was once a foam lizard attacted to a wire and half of a pink stretchy rubber spider. It's real ugly.

I have been trying to jump up and catch it alllllllllllll day.

Oh my gosh, so many new friends! Mommy says that if anyone wants to they can add her journal which is friends only.
However, she's boring and dumb except when I want to play. And eat, and sleep too.

Mommy bought me treats so I stole her pile of blankets as my bed cause she doesn't sleep when I want to sleep.. and I like to sleep right next to her. Even when she rolls over me..

Also, I have been pooping a lot. This means I'm healthy, duhh.

OH HAI2u! this was my day:

I tried really hard to pose like Tigger. I failed.

I have decided that my new favorite toy is a mouse attached to my leash! better it than me anyways. I chased it all day and kept getting mad when Liz stopped making it move. Why wouldn't she want to keep playing? WHY?

Liz won't stop taking pictures of me.. it's really annoying and even though I meow in her face and try to touch her eyeballs with my paws, she won't stop.

But anyway, I'm pretty effing cute.

After a long night and day, I've decided that the most enjoyable thing to be done here besides play with the blinds is the above.
